DESIGN PROCESS

CREATING HEALING SPACES

The design process to create wellness spaces in hospitals and medical centers requires a thoughtful approach that prioritizes the comfort and healing of patients.

The first step is to conduct a needs assessment to identify areas that require improvement. This assessment takes into consideration the demographics of the patient population, the services offered, and the hospital's brand identity.

Once the needs assessment is complete, the design team creates a vision board to envision the "mood and vibe" of the space, which includes elements such as natural lighting, calming colors, and comfortable furnishings. This plan is also designed to incorporate the latest innovations in healthcare technology and create a space that reflects the hospital's values and mission. The space is tested to ensure that it meets the highest standards of safety, functionality, and patient satisfaction. This includes testing the lighting, ventilation, and acoustics, as well as assessing the overall patient experience.

With the right design team, hospitals and medical centers can create wellness spaces that promote healing, reduce stress, and create a positive experience for patients, staff, and visitors. These spaces improve patient outcomes, increase staff satisfaction, and ultimately lead to a better overall healthcare experience.
